Troubleshooting - Closing Category upload issue

Description:  Unable to upload the closing categories csv into "vedantu_wa" business

If you are experiencing issues with uploading closing categories csv files, follow the below steps for troubleshooting. 

  1. Open the Smart Agent Chat tool. 

  1. Navigate to the Businesses section in the left side menu. 

  1. Access the Closing Categories and click on Add Categories. 

  1. Attempt to upload the CSV file provided by the client for the business name. 

  1. If the error persists, try uploading a sample CSV file with the client's business name. If there are no errors, it indicates an issue with the original CSV file. 

  1. As an additional check, attempt to upload the client's CSV file with a different business name. If it fails to upload, we can confirm that the issue lies with the CSV file. 

  1. Review the CSV file for errors. Copy the contents of the CSV file in parts to another Google sheet fand attempt to upload it. This step will help identify the specific section of the file causing the error. 

  1. For the ticket mentioned, the presence of curly brackets '{}' and an em dash '—' were causing the errors. The resolution involved removing the line with the curly bracket and replacing the em dash with a hyphen. 

  1. If the issue persists or you require further assistance, contact Haptik L2 Support, or follow the escalation matrix for additional guidance.
